REGISTRATION FOR 2010 NEWARK BEARS YOUTH BASEBALL CLINICS IS NOW OPEN! The Newark Bears and Healthfirst Health Plan of New Jersey have partnered to present the 2010 Newark Bears Youth Baseball Clinics at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium. The Bears will host eight free clinics over the course of the summer.Registration for the August and September Clinics is now open. Each clinic date requires a separate registration. Each attendee will receive a day of instruction, a Newark Bears Baseball Clinic t-shirt, and one (1) ticket good for the Newark Bears’ game that same day. The clinics are open to kids ranging in age from eight to 16-years-old. The first August clinic session will take place on Sunday, August 8th from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., prior to the Bears taking on the Somerset Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Campers should arrive at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium at 3:30 p.m. The second clinic session will be held on Sunday, August 29 as the York Revolution come to town. The final clinic will take place on Sunday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. before the Bears close out the 2010 home schedule against the Camden Riversharks.
